Unmetered Storage

A lot of web hosting providers claim that they offer unlimited storage  to their customers... Please be aware that these are false claims and there is no such thing as unlimited storage! A server can only offer as much storage as the hard drive has available. Here at Intergalactic Hosting we offer what the real term should be called and that is "Unmetered Storage", meaning we will not charge you extra money for using extra storage on our hard drives. Most websites do not use a lot of storage space at all, this allows us to offer our clients the extra storage space that is unused. We will initially set up your account with 8gb of storage space and will increase your limit as needed should you start to come close to your capacity. We do not restrict the storage of video or audio files like most unlimited storage pans offered by our competitors. What we do ask is that you do not keep an abundance of media files that are not live on your website,  we are not in the business of data archiving or backup storage. If you have many media files that you no longer need to be published live on your web site we please ask that you remove them from the server, we will only enforce this rule if we find that the archived media is an excessive amount.
